Grooming and Dressing Assistance
Personal care in providing shower assisting and or basic grooming, combing of hair, helping with dental care.
Respite Care
When our caregiver provides care to a person so their primary/family carer can have a break.
Medication Reminders
Certain clients need a daily reminder to take their prescribed medication – our services only prompts the clients, unless in a Webster/Blister pack, we do not administer medication.
Settling in service
When a client is discharged from hospital and isn’t able to get home following their stay, we provide a caregiver to collect them from the hospital and settle them in at home before leaving.
Alzheimer's and dementia care
Trained caregivers provide care to clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Companionship
As clients are often socially isolated they require a caregiver to visit them at home as a companion.
Social Support
Often a client would need some social support and invite the caregiver to join them on social outings.
Meal Preparation
Clients would require a light meal prepared by our caregiver which encourages the client to have a nutritious meal.
Light Housekeeping
Caregivers are required to assist with domestic assistance ie. vacuuming, dusting, mopping and laundry.
Shopping and Errand Services
Assisting clients with grocery shopping and running errands such as collecting mail, collecting scripts from the pharmacy.
Incidental Transportation
Should a client need to be collected or taken to hospital or to a medical appointment a caregiver is available to assist.
Laundry
Assisting the client with laundry and occasional ironing.
Recreational Activities
Often clients enjoy having a caregiver around to play cards or part-take in some recreational activities.
Organize Mail
Assisting a client with incoming mail and occasional filing of paperwork.
Garden and pet care
Watering of plants and walking or feeding the pets.
Overnight and Palliative Care
We provide 12/24 hour live-in care in the client’s home.
