Comfort Keepers® is a growing international franchise organization, offering companionship and other in-home services that allow individuals to remain in the privacy and comfort of their own home. Founded in 1998 by a registered home healthcare nurse and her husband, Comfort Keepers has grown to more than 610 locations in the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Europe, Singapore and now Australia.
The company launched it's Australian business with the opening of the Perth office in July 2006. In December 2006, the Fremantle office commenced operations. Comfort Keepers’ Carers are carefully screened through background checks, and are insured for their client’s peace of mind. All carers are employees of Comfort Keepers and Comfort Keepers takes care of paying all employee taxes.
