Skills and Training

Our dedicated Support Workers are highly professional and well trained.

What truly sets them apart, however, is their natural gift for genuinely caring for others. They have an eye for detail and a heart for caregiving - and we think this makes all the difference.

To provide the best possible experience for our clients, we firstly need to recruit the best people in the industry and provide the best training, imaginable.

Only those who pass our strict interview and screening process are accepted to complete our intensive induction and training and then, to deliver our special brand of care.

They also pass extensive background checks and complete continuing industry and in-house education and training in all key areas of clinical and non-medical care. From real world settings, our team learns first-hand, what it’s like if someone has had a stroke, is in a wheelchair, is vision impaired, suffers from allergies, arthritis, or Alzheimer’s - or is recovering from a hospital injury.

Under the direction of our visionary and qualified board, our highly skilled Operational team represents a dynamic and extensive mix of aged care, nursing, scheduling, administration, governance, HR and financial expertise, to further support our caregiving model.

Backed up further, with the best practice global Comfort Keepers Training Academy, for support and inspiration - we believe that we offer one of the most comprehensive training and induction programs in Western Australia.

The arrival of the CV19 pandemic in 2020, resulted in the need for next level education and training, including: personal protective equipment (PPE) skills, to ensure that we are best-practice operators, with our fellow care industry partners, to help keep the community safe, healthy and happy, in the comfort of their own homes.

Our training summary includes:

“Together, we all work seamlessly to deliver the Comfort Keepers care experience and constantly provide up-skilling and training for our staff to ensure we are the best, we can possibly be!”
